12 Days Tours Around Morocco From Casablanca

Day 1: Welcome to Morocco (Casablanca):

After you land at the airport Mohamed 5 of Casablanca, you will be kindly welcomed with our stuff and driven to your accommodation. Also ,Casablanca is Morocco’s economic centre.


Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen:

In the morning, you will have breakfast before we visit the most famous Mosque in Morocco Hassan II Mosque. This large Mosque could contain more than 25000 worshippers. Furthermore , our trip continues to go our destination Rabat city. Also , It is the capital of Morocco where we will visit Kasbahs , such as of Oudaya, Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mahammed V and the Hassan 2 in Rabat.besides of that we will also visit Chellah Necropolis before we have lunch at a local restaurant. next we will move to Chefchouen is after having lunch. On our way, we will travel through the enjoyable village such as “Ouazzan”. During our journey, we will drive through the sceanary views and landscapes of Rif Mountains. The overnight is at a local Riad.


Day 3: Chefchaouen Touring:

After you wake up in the morning you will have delecious breakfast ,and our plan will be exploring Checfcouen city. You would walk through the amazing blue alleys of the medina (the old town). Checfchouen is one of the charming cities in Morocco because of its blue buildings and walls ans its called the blue pearl , innadition to that , You will have the chance to visit the Souk, the restored Kasbah and the main square of the medina. This blue city offers the best opportunities to take shining pictures. It is located in the charming Rif Mountains. One of the places that is admired by visitors id Ras Lma. It is a breath-taking water spring. Also , you will have lunch at one of the local restaurants in the town. The town was under the Spanish profession . That is why the Spanish architecture could be easily noticed. Overnight at a Riad.


Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes:

On the 4th day, we will leave Chefchouen and drive towards the Roman ruins such as Volubilis. On our way, we will drive through the scenic Rif Mountains. Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While you are exploring this wonderful site, you will see that the floors are made of mosaics. Also you will get to see basilica, temple and triumphal arch. After visiting this interesting monument, we will make our way to the Holy Tow of Moulay Driss (the founder of Fez city). Before we drive to visit Meknes, we will have lunch in the town of Moulay Idriss. In Meknes, we will visit some monuments and beautiful sites such as The giant Bab Mansour (the gate to the medina), the Basin Swani, the old Medina, Souks and Square Lahdim. You will have the chance to relax at one of the cafes that surround Square Lahdim before we drive to Fez. The overnight will be at a Riad in the Medina.


Day 5: Fes Touring 

Today is sincere to visit Fez’s monuments and sightseeing. After having your delicious breakfast, we will head to visit the medina of Fez and walk through its traditional markets (Souks) and strikt path. Later on, we will visit The Royal Palace Gate and Jewish Quarter “El Mellah”. Moreover we will have the chance to visit the ceramics cooperative where you will see the interesting and skilful craftsman and their brilliant handicrafts. The journey includes visiting the Quranic school Bou Inania Medrasa,,,etc. In the afternoon, the plan is heading to visit the tombs of Merenids to appreciate the fascinating view over the entire Medina of Fez. Overnight at Riad.


Day 6: Fes – Ifran – Cedar – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Sahara :


Merzouga Desert
Before we set to Sahara Desert, you will have breakfast at your accommodation. To reach the destination, you will travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains where you will stop to visit the large sylvan of Cedar Forest. Here, you will enjoy the charming nature and views. And also see the Berbary apes. The trip continues until we stop in Midelt for having lunch. After that, we will resume driving acrooss the amazing landscapes of Talghamt pass and the Panoramic views of Ziz Valley. One hour later, we will arrive at Sahara Desert. After a warm welcoming and a short while to rest, you will be accompanied with your guide to take a camel trek towards the Desert of Erg Chebbi. You will ride camels through the golden sand dunes enjoying the breath-taking sunset until you reach your camp. You will spend the night a nomad tent where you will have dinner and listen to Berber music under the shiny stars.


Day 7: Tour of The Dunes – Visit Nomad Families – Merzouga:

Early in the morning, you will enjoy the amazing sunrise over the sand dunes before you have breakfast in the Hotel Merzouga . Today’s plan is exploring the surrounding places of Merzouga Desert. You will have the chance to visit one of the nomad families that live in one of the villages in the desert. It is a very traditional and simple life. In such areas, you will watch people’s lifestyle and daily routine. The journey proceeds with driving to Ralley Paris-Dakar old track and visit Mifis mines that used to be exploited by the French. Afterwards, we will visit the interesting village Khamlia. It is also called Gnaoua village. People who live in this village are originally from Sudan, they came and stable in this area hundred years ago. Moreover ,you will enjoy listening to Gnaoua music and have Beber Pizza for lunch. Later on, we will make our way to the oases in the sand dunes’ edge before we go back to the hotel and having relax in the swimmingpool.


Day 8 : Merzouga – Rissani – Arfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley:


After having breakfast at the accommodation, we will drive to visit Rissani. This small town used to be the Saharan caravans routes. It is famous for having the largest Souks in Morocco . Later on, we will continue to visit Erfoud. It is the economic center od Draa region. Erfoud is well-known for having interesting fossils workshops and stalls selling crystals. After that we will drive to Dades Valley through Tinjdad and Toroug. Before arriving at Dades Valley, we will stop to visit Todra Gorges where the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After having lunch at a local restaurant, we will drive to Dades Valley where we will see the fascinating rock formation (Monkies fingers). The overnight at a hotel.


Day 9: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech:

After having your breakfast at Dades Valley, we will drive you to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). During today’s journey, you will visit El Kalaa M’Gouna. It is nicknamed the Valley of Roses. Leaving the Valley of Roses, we will head to Skoura oasis where many Kasbahs among Dades valley’s greenery. Soura’s town is fully surrounded by beautiful palm groves. After that, the day continues to Ouarzazate where you may visit the famous Cinema Studios. The next site is the interesting Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and where many Hollywood movies have been shot including Gladiator and The Prince of Persia. After we our visit comes to an end,, we will be driving back to Marrakech through the fascinating pass of Tizi N’Tichka (2260 over the Grand Atlas Mountains). In the evening, we will arrive at Marrakech. Overnight at a Riad in the Medina.


Day 10: Exploring Marrakesh CIty

Today’s program is dedicated to visit Marrakech’s sites and monuments. You will be guided to visit the astonishing Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Coranic School, Souks (traditional markets), Majorelle Gardens, and Kotoubia Tower. You will have lunch at one of the local restaurants near the famous Jamaa El Fnaa square. The overnight at a Riad.


Day 11: Day Trip To Essaouira:

We will be driving to visit Essouira after having breakfast at ypur accommodation in Marrakech. On the way to this beautiful city, you will stop to visit women’ cooperative of Argan oil and observe the process that this oil goes through to be extracted. Essouira city lies on the Atlantic ocean. There are may places to visit in Essouira such as (Skala fortress) that were built in the 18th century. We will also explore the medina of Essouira. It is one of the UNESCO’s world heritage sites. The fishing port is one of the interesting places to visit in Essouira. It is very authentic and where visitors have fresh seafood for lunch. The beach of Essouira is one of the top destinations for surfers around the world because of the Essouira’s windy weather over the year. In the afternoon, Marrakech is where we will drive back. Overnight at your accommodation.


Day 12: Back Home Finished the Tour :

After breakfast, we would drive you to the airport (Marrakech/Casablanca). 12 Days tour from Casablanca comes to an end we hope you like it 🙂
